Stay Connected to God’s Love

If it feels like January has lasted an entire year, you’re not alone. So much has already happened, and you might be carrying the weight of it all. Maybe your loved ones are feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or discouraged. Maybe you’re feeling it too—uncertainty, sadness, fear. If so, take a deep breath. It’s okay to feel these things. You’re human.

But here’s the truth I want to remind you of today:

No matter what’s happening in the world, nothing can separate you from God’s love. Nothing.

Don’t believe me? Keep reading.

Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins ; None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

Think about that. Look at the list according to God’s word of things that TRY to pull you away from His love but cannot:

  • Trouble

  • Hard times

  • Hatred

  • Hunger

  • Homelessness

  • Bullying threats

  • Backstabbing

  • Nothing living

  • And the list goes on…..

Yet, through it all, Jesus still loves you. His love isn’t dependent on your circumstances, your emotions, the state of this world or even your mistakes. His love is steady, unshakable, and bigger than anything you’re facing.

So when the world feels chaotic, and you’re wondering how to navigate the storm and the crazy, anchor yourself in this truth: God’s love is constant. It’s your foundation. It’s your peace. Hold on to God’s love, it’s the one thing that will not change.
