Dropping the F-Bombs, One at a Time: Part 1 – Fear

Happy MonYAY Everyone!

I had a feeling this title would bring a few of you over here—and yep, that was the plan. Don’t worry, though, there will be zero profanity over here. But the F-bombs we’re talking about over the next few weeks? They’re just as destructive.

These feelings, experiences, and mindsets have a way of controlling our lives—yes, controlling with a capital C. And in the middle of everything going on in the world (because let’s be real, it’s CRAY out here), we don’t have time to let these things hold us back any longer. It’s time to drop them—and more importantly, drop the grip they have on us.

Today, we’re starting with the first one: Fear.

FEAR: The F-Bomb That Keeps Us Stuck

Fear is an emotion, but it’s also a strategy the enemy loves to use. It’s based on a perceived threat—whether to ourselves, our dreams, or the people we love.

The Problem with Fear:

  • It creates anxiety and keeps us stuck.

  • It makes us hide instead of stepping into what God has for us.

  • It blocks our faith and obedience because we hesitate instead of moving forward.

  • It causes self-doubt, whispering lies about what we can or can’t do.

  • And if we let it sit too long? It destroys our full potential, purpose, and possibilities.

So, what do we do right now?

  1. Acknowledge it. You can’t drop what you don’t admit is there. Where has fear been calling the shots in your life?

  2. Replace it with Truth. Fear feeds on lies. But the Word? It cancels those lies out. Here’s what God says:

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Timothy 1:7 (TPT)For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.

3. Pray it through. Fear doesn’t leave without a fight—but we don’t fight alone.

Got a prayer for you right here:

God, I come to you today, thanking you for creating me with purpose. Despite what’s going on around me, I will bless you—the Creator of all things. I pray against the spirit of fear working hard to control my life. I have no need to fear because You are with me 24/7/365, and I know You have given me power, love, and a sound mind. Help me to walk in this daily. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Let that be your declaration. Say it. Believe it. Walk in it.

And don’t worry, we’re just getting started. Thursday’s vlog (yep, we’re on YouTube now) is where we’ll discuss even more—breaking fear’s grip for real. But for today? Start here.

Let’s drop this F-bomb together. 💥Let those sink in for the rest of this week. Say them out loud. Write them down. Because the only way to drop fear is to replace it with faith.

And don’t worry, we’re just getting started. Thursday’s vlog is where we’ll go even deeper—breaking fear’s grip for real. But for today? Start here.

Let’s drop all these F-bombs together.

Much Love,

Natalie
