Dropping the F-Bombs, One at a Time – Part 2: Frustration
Hey there everyone!
So glad you came back back for another round of dropping these F-bombs! Today, we’re tackling Frustration. It’s sneaky, subtle, and can quickly turn into anger, doubt, or resentment if we don’t deal with it.
Whether it's your current situation, a delay in life, or people not meeting our expectations—frustration can feel overwhelming- and not gonna lie, the way this world is rockin’ right now, frustration for many of us is at an all time high!
Here’s the thing, just like fear, frustration isn't just a feeling—it's a distraction. It shifts our focus away from trust, peace, and faith, keeping us stuck exactly where we don’t want to be and might I add where God has not destined us to be.
Alright, let’s break it down—how is frustration messing us up?
It makes us impatient.
It negatively impacts how we interact with others.
It drains our energy—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
It causes us to focus on the wrong things.
It creates bitterness and resentment if we let it linger.
Okay, what can you do about this frustration TODAY?
Shift Your Focus: Instead of asking "Why is this happening?" ask yourself, "What could God be teaching me through this?"
Choose Gratitude: Find one thing you can be thankful for in the middle of your frustration. Gratitude helps realign your heart and mind.
Pause & Pray: Take a deep breath and ask God to help you see clearly through your frustration.
Here’s a prayer for you!
“God, I come to You acknowledging my frustration. I don’t want it to control my heart or steal my peace. Help me trust Your timing and see Your purpose clearly, even when things don’t go my way. Replace my frustration with patience and faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Frustration is real, but it doesn't have to rule you. Drop this F-bomb and choose faith instead.
Don’t miss Thursday’s vlog, where we’ll dig even deeper into handling frustration practically and spiritually!
Much Love,
Natalie
