It’s Time to disrupt some things.

Happy MonYAY everyone!

It’s the first full week in April and it’s time make some serious change.

Why? Because some of the things we’ve accepted in our personal lives, in our faith-walk, and in this nation (lawd send yo’ help) aren’t working. Some of the things we’ve settled for—out of habit, fear, or laziness—are stunting our growth, clouding our vision, and blocking our purpose.

  • We’ve been too settled.

  • Too tired.

  • Too comfortable.

But now it’s time for disruption—not rooted in chaos, but in clarity, courage, and conviction- and not just in one area of our lives, but several:

Personally

Some of us have been over-functioning for everyone else while under-caring for ourselves. We’ve normalized burnout. We've labeled survival as strength. And we’ve made fear look like faithfulness.

We’ve told ourselves “this is just how it is” when deep down, we know—we’re overdue for a reset.

This month, give yourself permission to disrupt what’s draining you, challenge what’s no longer aligned, and start choosing what actually leads to peace and wholeness.

Purposefully

The season for waiting on the perfect moment, the perfect clarity, or the perfect confidence is over. If you’ve been hiding your voice, your gifts, or your message—this is your reminder:

God didn’t give it to you for safe keeping. He gave it to you to move something.

Walking in purpose means disrupting comfort. It means letting go of hiding and stepping into impact.

Cause one things for sure, purpose won’t thrive where passivity lives.

Spiritually

We’ve been treating our spiritual lives like a checklist—reading devotionals without depth, praying without pause, and showing up out of routine instead of relationship.

But God is calling all of us deeper.

Spiritual disruption is about breaking through the noise, the numbness, and the surface-level faith to actually connect.

  • It’s sitting with God when it’s uncomfortable.

  • It’s asking questions, being honest in prayer, and opening up space to listen.

  • This kind of disruption doesn’t destroy—it revives.

  • It reminds us who we are, whose we are, and why we’re here.

Culturally & Politically (YAL!)

There’s no denying it—what we’re seeing right now in our nation is deeply troubling and heartbreaking.

  • Policies that roll back rights.

  • Narratives that distort truth.

  • Decisions that harm the most vulnerable.

We can't claim to be rooted in purpose or faith while staying silent about injustice.

Now is NOT the time for passive scrolling or quiet agreement.

Now is the time to disrupt systems, conversations, and narratives that do not align with God’s call for justice, mercy, and truth.

So, What Can You Do Right Now?

6 things:

  • Personally: Set one boundary you’ve been avoiding. You don’t have to explain your peace.

  • Spiritually: Spend 10 more minutes with God—no music, no words, just presence.

  • Purposefully: Use your gift this week. Share the message, launch the idea, speak up.

  • Mentally: Interrupt your inner critic with compassion. You don’t have to earn rest.

  • Culturally: Stay informed and share truth. Silence is not neutrality—it’s agreement.

  • Collectively: Support voices, leaders, and organizations doing real work. Put your dollars, time, and influence where your values are.

Get in God’s Word

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
— Isaiah 43:19

“Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet…”
— Isaiah 58:1

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
— Micah 6:8

Later this week, head on over to the vlog where I’ll share a bit more!

Much Love,

Natalie
