Meet Natalie
Natalie Pickett is a vibrant force of joy and inspiration, fueled by her unwavering faith in God. Described as a joyful, energetic ray of sunshine, Natalie is dedicated to helping individuals live intentionally with the gifts, talents, and abilities God has given them. Whether she’s teaching, writing, or speaking, her mission is to empower others to live authentically and purposefully.
Natalie’s journey began as a child, teaching her stuffed animals their “ABCs and 123s.” This early passion for education led her to become an elementary school teacher, where she spent thirteen years pouring into the lives of children. During this time, she also began training and coaching new teachers and student teachers, expanding her impact beyond the classroom.
Recognizing the significant influence she could have on both children and adults, Natalie decided to broaden her reach. She left the classroom to travel across the United States, training teachers, educators, and administrators on curriculum and assessment. She has worked with a variety of school districts, early childhood programs, and educational leaders, including New York City Schools, South Carolina Department of Early Childhood, United Way of Greater Nashville, and DC Public Schools.
Natalie holds a B.S. in Family Studies from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
As a certified speaker, trainer, and coach with the John Maxwell Team, Natalie provides a variety of experiences that help people live and lead with integrity and intentionality, adding value to others. She continues to offer developmentally appropriate experiences for children, teaching them to embrace intentional living and self-confidence.
With a heart for building up tween girls, Natalie founded S.E.M.P.L.Y Girls.
Natalie is happily married to her husband, Reggie. Together, they have the honor of parenting three amazing boys and spoiling two super adorable dogs.
